We officially arrived in Frankfurt, Germany this morning around 8:00am local time. We weren't able to sleep much because of some pretty bad turbulence. We both agree that it was the most turbulent flight we have ever experienced so we were very glad to get off that plane! Marina's grandparents met us at the airport and drove us back to their house in Fulda. Their neighborhood literally looks like something out of a movie. There are bakeries, banks, churches, restaurants, and small stores all within walking distance. We had some lunch and unpacked, then the lack of sleep started to hit us. We caved in and napped for two hours then went on a walk up to the top of a hill in town where we could see views of the surrounding cities. We sat in an outdoor cafe at the top of the hill and had a coke until 6:00pm when all the church bells in the town started to ring telling us that it was time to go home for dinner. Now its about 9:35pm and it's still light outside!

At the outdoor cafe at the top of the hill. (Note: That's a Coke and the mug is a napkin holder.)
Me, Marina, and her second cousin Daniel with the view of the surrounding cities.
